Please Santa, Can I Have...

With Christmas creeping closer we're all getting in the festive spirit here at 3:Eleven HQ. Christmas cards have all been written and checked off the list, presents wrapped and under the tree (for those of us that have actually started and finished our xmas shopping, unlike some, mentioning no names *cough* Liz) and we've cracked open the mulled wine, on more than one occasion.

So now our thoughts have turned to what we may be lucky enough to receive from the white bearded, red suited and black booted big man this year. Christmas is the time for giving, but also receiving (really nice presents!) Here's our picks of what is top of our Christmas Wish List for 2010.

Liz - LOVE this ring from YSL's Iconic Arty Oval ring collection! The vintage look of this ring oozes glamour and sophistication. Definitely a statement piece for this party season!

Sophie - The masculine shape of this Michael Kors watch is just what I'm looking for! The delicate rose gold-plating is bang on trend and is guaranteed to make a stylish accompaniment to my wardrobe next season.

Georgina - I love the super sleek and classic shape of these bags from the Céline Spring 11 Cabas Tote collection. The pop of colour adds a modern edge to the minimilistic design. Santa, I'll have one in every colour please!

3:Eleven Boutique Top 50 Drapers & Pure Inspiring Independents 2011

3:Eleven has had some great news this week; we have been nominated by Drapers readers as one of the top 50 most exciting, innovative and altogether inspiring fashion independents in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

It is now up to us to rank our fellow top 50 peers based on who we truly admire. Therefore the rankings will be voted by the industry for the indusrty. The final positioning will be revealed at an exclusive event in February where we will find out who has taken the top spot. There will also be a special Inspiring Indies supplement out in a Drapers Febuary edition which will profile our business, so make sure you look out for us!

After only trading for just over a year, 3:Eleven is extremely pleased that we have received this recognition by the industry and look forward to celebrating this success in February!

French Fancy

Wow, the French are really having a moment right now. We all know and love the classic French designers, think Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Isabel Marant, which we're sure would be on the top of every girls wish list. However, more recently a wave of more affordable, premium brands have been popping up on the fashion radar. Brands such as Sandro, Maje, Zadig & Voltaire, American Retro and IRO are so hot right now. These brands offer super chic staples and cool understated pieces that offer something different. They address day to night dressing perfectly, sophisticated yet messy and always fashion forward.
Our growing obssession of French labels has not been helped with the recent opening of the Sandro store in London. Here is one of our favourite looks from the A/W10 collection.

Keep your eyes peeled for these fabulous pieces, coming to 3:Eleven for Spring/Summer 2011.

Accessory Alert: Dominique Mosley

With the nights closing in and the days getting colder it’s time to start layering up and snuggling into a scarf to help brave these blustery days. Scarves are a necessity for the winter season but they shouldn’t just be a dull functional piece that you throw on, we want them to be stylish and fashionable at the same time.
To achieve the chic wrapped up look then look no further than Central St. Martin graduate Dominique Mosley, the luxury scarf label that is dedicated to creating a vibrant and design led range of scarves, whose collections are often featured in Vogue. Every scarf is designed, printed and finished in the UK and this season Dominique has added a range of sumptuous wool and silk blend scarves to the existing exquisite collection.
The latest range is inspired by the glamorous characters of SATC and the designs are playful yet ultra feminine. Beat the winter blues by wrapping yourself in one of Dominique’s divine designs.

Baby Boot..The New Kid on the Denim Block

There is a new girl in town and I think she is going to be the next addition to your denim collection. Ever tried on a straight or skinny pair of jeans and loved the fit but just wanted a little bit of boot cut? If the answer is yes, then let me introduce you to Beth, the new arrival to the Hudson denim family.

The Beth Baby Boot is a low rise slim fit that then subtly flares into a slight boot cut to give you that long, lean look that we all want from our denim. The flare gives just the right amount of volume, so is a perfect transition for all you skinny jean lovers who feel like a change.
The Devonshire wash is the perfect slimming dark denim that we are all searching for at this time of year, to help take us through the winter and also flatter the body. Plus the signature Hudson back pockets are the ultimate bum lifter!
Wear with Converse for a laid back, easy to wear, everyday look, or alternatively wear with a fabulous pair of high heels for a sophisticated evening look.
Beth has certainly been a hit with the fash pack and sure to be your must-have, versatile wardrobe staple for next season!

Summer Memoirs

So Autumn is well and truly here and what a summer it has been. For our first post we thought we would share our memoirs with you and reflect on the amazing summer that the 3:eleven girls have had. Partying with Puck, one wedding in Vegas, one in France, hen do in LA and running a business at the same time, it has certainly been a hectic but unforgettable summer!
So Georgina got hitched twice, (not that she's greedy or anything) legally in Vegas with the blessing in Provence, France. But before married life could begin the bachelors partied in San Fransisco and the bachelorettes in La La Land before all hooking up in Vegas for some serious partying Sin City style (obviously with a few buying appointments squeezed in)!
Back home to recover for a week before we (easy) jetted off again, this time to France to celebrate the marriage blessing of Georgina and George with family and friends.

Here are a few of our holiday/wedding snaps...
