Please Santa, Can I Have...

With Christmas creeping closer we're all getting in the festive spirit here at 3:Eleven HQ. Christmas cards have all been written and checked off the list, presents wrapped and under the tree (for those of us that have actually started and finished our xmas shopping, unlike some, mentioning no names *cough* Liz) and we've cracked open the mulled wine, on more than one occasion.

So now our thoughts have turned to what we may be lucky enough to receive from the white bearded, red suited and black booted big man this year. Christmas is the time for giving, but also receiving (really nice presents!) Here's our picks of what is top of our Christmas Wish List for 2010.

Liz - LOVE this ring from YSL's Iconic Arty Oval ring collection! The vintage look of this ring oozes glamour and sophistication. Definitely a statement piece for this party season!

Sophie - The masculine shape of this Michael Kors watch is just what I'm looking for! The delicate rose gold-plating is bang on trend and is guaranteed to make a stylish accompaniment to my wardrobe next season.

Georgina - I love the super sleek and classic shape of these bags from the Céline Spring 11 Cabas Tote collection. The pop of colour adds a modern edge to the minimilistic design. Santa, I'll have one in every colour please!

 

The Boys are Back in Town - The Launch of ChloBoy

If you didn't already know ChloBo isn't just for us ladies, they also have a range for all the guys out there. ChloBoy is the male version of the ever growing jewellery label and has just launched it's latest collection with an uber cool campaign shoot. 

The collection features a mix of necklaces, pendants and bracelets that are chunky and stylish. The use of silver, black coral and black onyx alongside large skulls and crosses makes each piece a statement. Stack them to create that rock and roll look!

3:Eleven Boutique Top 50 Drapers & Pure Inspiring Independents 2011

3:Eleven has had some great news this week; we have been nominated by Drapers readers as one of the top 50 most exciting, innovative and altogether inspiring fashion independents in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

It is now up to us to rank our fellow top 50 peers based on who we truly admire. Therefore the rankings will be voted by the industry for the indusrty. The final positioning will be revealed at an exclusive event in February where we will find out who has taken the top spot. There will also be a special Inspiring Indies supplement out in a Drapers Febuary edition which will profile our business, so make sure you look out for us!

After only trading for just over a year, 3:Eleven is extremely pleased that we have received this recognition by the industry and look forward to celebrating this success in February!

French Fancy

Wow, the French are really having a moment right now. We all know and love the classic French designers, think Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Isabel Marant, which we're sure would be on the top of every girls wish list. However, more recently a wave of more affordable, premium brands have been popping up on the fashion radar. Brands such as Sandro, Maje, Zadig & Voltaire, American Retro and IRO are so hot right now. These brands offer super chic staples and cool understated pieces that offer something different. They address day to night dressing perfectly, sophisticated yet messy and always fashion forward.

Our growing obssession of French labels has not been helped with the recent opening of the Sandro store in London. Here is one of our favourite looks from the A/W10 collection.
