I'm not usually a fan of H&M denim just because I don't like the fit and their pockets on my bum! I always tend to go for premium denim, but I'm pretty pleased with these black ones. The tribal embroidery down the sides drew me in, I thought they would look awful on but hey I'm actually pretty pleased with them. Although they are black I feel like they are a little summery, with a slight crop and an Isabel Marant vibe - the ideal summer jean for me! I'm wearing another red top again..I don't actually like red things on me too much but I'm guessing I love the lace style enough to wear it anyway!

When I saw the black version of this skort/skirt/culottes (or whatever you want to call them), I loved it but never actually got round to getting one. Anyway I'm glad I didn't seeing as these came out, and yep I'm loving the colour (obvs!) Love it! I will be dressing it up and down but here I went for a somewhat sporty attire, pairing it with my Kenzo inspired Topshop number..looking rather colourful for me! I'm also wearing a couple of old classics like my Chanel 2.55, I haven't worn it for an age but today I felt like giving it a whirl, along with my Helmut Lang blazer/jacket that I use time and time again, it's the perfect inbetweeny jacket but a new one is on the wish list!

Cannes Film Festival 2011

Last week was the ever anticipated annual Cannes Film Festival. In its 64th year the festival yet again delivered French glitz and glamour.

We have picked out our favorite looks from the 8 day event and it seems the stars literally took the French vibe to heart with colours directly inspired from the French flag!

Penelope Cruz pictured here with Johnny Depp opted for a simple Stella McCartney creation proving that velvet can work.

Met Ball 2011

The 63rd annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art took place last night and was in honour of  the late Alexander McQueen.

It's the fashionistas event of the year and the red carpet always boasts the most fabulous ensembles, British designs were particulary prominent this year due to the Alexander McQueen honouring theme.

We've picked out a few of our favourite looks from the event and as usual eveyone was groomed to perfection!
